Nyrups Naturhotell is surely the pure definition of glamping – if glamping is a more comfortable form of camping in the forest and in nature. Here you have the hanging out and fixing things in the camp, smoke from the fire, the wonderful outdoor meals cooked over the open fire. Silence, tree tops, the effects of the weather. Dusk, darkness and dawn. And at the same time a comfortable bed, a door to close, some extra heat and warm light from the candles and kerosene lamps.
At Nyrups Naturhotell experiencing nature is key. Here you get the stars, the crackling flames, the sound of the wind in the beech trees. A campsite with companionship, working together, nice conversations, and maybe also long silences together.
Nyrups Naturhotell can also be called an “adventure hotel” or a “forest hotel”. Central to the concept is that the hotel is located in the middle of the woods without access by car all the way, without electricity and running water. And the fact that you as the guest are the creator of the experience, so that you find peace and a sense of being in the moment through the daily tasks of a life in the middle of the woods.
Hiking packages, day hikes, day trips or just “being”
Here you can enjoy hiking without any luggage, and our hiking packages include everything you need for a one or more days hiking. Up to four days hiking gives a good variation and if you combine it with the Skåne trail (Skåneleden) then a week is a good amount of time. We will gladly help you to get out and experience the fantastic trails.
You can also go for ‘all inclusive’ day hikes. With our fun and exciting day trips you can combine hiking with cooking or making pancakes over the open fire. You can even add a little extra to the days’ hiking with some time in the bathhouse and sampling local cheeses.
Nyrups Naturhotell is a dog-friendly hotel. We have two huts where dogs are warmly welcome. We have also got hooks that you can attach your dog’s lead to if needed in order not to disturb other guests.
Staying at Nyrups Naturhotell involves winding down and finding yourself in the present. Cooking and making coffee over the open fire takes time and camp life includes many important tasks. In our bathhouse you get extra help to land in your surroundings. The wood fired sauna and rituals of cleaning yourself give you a deeper experience and sense of being in the present. Sometimes you don’t need more. Just being gains a new dimension at Nyrups Naturhotell.
