When you book a hiking experience with us everything is included. You only need to bring clothes for your stay and to get yourself to us to be able to enjoy great hikes along wonderful trails in the beech woods of Skåne.
We recommend booking two nights when you stay with us, since the whole experience is built upon experiencing nature – which is so much better if you as the guest have time to unwind and really feel how your time in the woods sinks in and creates memories.
You should come to Nyrups Naturhotell if you want to experience great hiking on beautiful trails in the undulating beech woods, and if you also want to go hiking with a little extra luxury without having to carry everything you need for several days hiking.

A two-night visit that gives you the complete experience of Nyrups Nature hotel. Everything is included in this perfect weekend packet and we introduce you to what you need to know on arrival. After the first evening of settling in and getting to know your way around you will be able to completely relax and enjoy camp life on day 2. When you head for home after the transformative nature experience, you will be full of impressions and new knowledge.

Choose to hike along the beautiful trails in the beech woods or just enjoy being out in nature. You can also choose to go up to Dagstorps lake and swim, sit by the stream or relax in a comfortable chair with a good book. On one of the afternoons or evenings you also get to enjoy our bathhouse.

Hiking weekend with a pilgrimage theme
A two-night hiking package with two full hiking days where you only need to bring clothes for your visit. Enjoy a real adventure in the beech woods with great views and hiking on beautiful hiking trails in undulating beech woods. You hike either from Höör or Frostavallen and can therefore arrive by train or bus – a sustainable holiday in a nutshell! You will have plenty of time to discover your beautiful surroundings and try out several of the fine hiking trails during your visit.

Choose to walk the Pilgrims trail either on the first or last day – you can find it from Höör’s town center with our directions. If you hike from Höör, the first day’s hike will be approximately 7 kilometers. Alternatively you can take a local bus to Frostavallen, and from there the hike is approximately 5 kilometers. When you arrive at Nyrups Naturhotell, you will get an introduction to the hotel and then you can enjoy cooking over the open fire following our tips and tricks for outdoor cooking. The wool hut is then inviting with its beds that you make with real sheets, and where you fall asleep to the noise of the beech woods.
After cooking breakfast, you pack one of our field kitchens, along with the prepared lunch or the ingredients available for cooking lunch. The hike follows small gravel tracks and lovely paths on well-marked hiking trails. You can choose to either hike the trail around Dagstorpsjön or the trail that passes Ullstorp nature reserve. The trails you do not do on the first day can be done on the last day instead.
New ingredients for dinner will be waiting for you in the communal woollen hut on your return, and of course you can also enjoy our bathhouse on one of the afternoons. On the day of departure, you pack a picnic lunch to take with you and then take the opportunity to try one of the hiking trails you haven’t done. Maybe it will be the Pilgrims Trail you hike back to Höör?
Distances for the hikes will be approximately 5-6 kilometers on the day of arrival and approximately 15-18 kilometers on day two. You can adjust the departure day to between 5 and 18 kilometers. The hike is easy to medium difficulty.

A unique two-night stay focusing on the bathhouse and forest spa – giving a real gold edge to your stay! Here you get a lot of time for conversation and companionship, and we can promise you a moment of being deeply in the present when you try the forest spa nature trail at our nice bathhouse, where you experience fire, steam and heat in the wood-burning sauna. You sleep well in our wool hut and cook food together over open fires.
Here you can choose to travel by public transport or come by car. If you take the train and bus, you get a fantastic setting for the experience as you hike on nice hiking trails about 5 or 7 kilometers to Nyrups Naturhotell.

After a nice breakfast that you cook over the open fire, the bathhouse with its unique forest spa path is ready for you. Here you enjoy ancient Nordic rituals for washing and prepare your own scrubs that you then use in the forest spa part. After a few hours in the bathhouse, in the wood-burning sauna and barefoot (and naked) along the path in the forest, you heat up a good soup for lunch in the outdoor kitchen. Then you can enjoy a quiet moment under the trees or in front of the wood-burning stove, or if you would rather you can go on the lovely hiking trail around the ancient volcano Bjäret.
In the evening, there are new ingredients for cooking and now that you have got used to the fires you may feel like adding a little more complexity to the cooking. We are sure you will get an extra good sleep when darkness approaches. After a last peaceful breakfast it’s time to pack up and head back to everyday life again.

Beech forest enjoyment
Our only one-night stay. We prioritize two-night stays, so if you don’t find available dates, please check back again later. We release days when Bokskognjutning can be booked throughout the year.
Everything is prepared for a lovely night in the woods and you only need to bring your clothes. You check in in the afternoon, cook the fine local produce over our open fires and then enjoy an evening in nature under the starry sky. Fall asleep to the sounds of the woods and wake up to birdsong. After a nice breakfast cooking, it’s time to return to everyday life.
